Solvent Safe tips protect your pipettor with a unique carbon filter which completely blocks corrosive vapors that can damage expensive pipettor components. A convenient, economical alternative to expensive positive displacement pipettors and glass pipets. MBP has carried out tests with over 30 different chemicals to show that Solvent Safe tips work to prevent vapors from a variety of chemical classes from reaching beyond the filter. See Technical Report #307 for details.
